I don’t think there’s a trend I’m more glad to see come back around than the Mary Jane flats. When have they ever not been cute? And now, the entire world knows all over again. The latest iterations of the shoe blend modern and classic elements — a slightly sharper toe without going full-on triangle pointer, gold hardware in updated shapes and materials that go far beyond the classic leather finish.
I’m partial to the jacquard Sam Edelman design on the left, but that classic black Mary Jane will always have my heart so I couldn’t leave out the velvet blacks on the right. They’re available in sizes 5-14 and select colors.
