“Daily Show” host Jon Stewart on Monday gave some blunt advice to President Donald Trump, who banned three major media outlets from the White House for their coverage of his administration.

Stewart first played a clip of Trump complaining.
“I mean, there’s something wrong with a country that can allow people to write purposely negative stories,” Trump said.
Stewart went silent for about 10 seconds, then offered the president some unsolicited advice.
“Have you tried presidenting better?” he finally asked. “You could ban the press ― or you could be a better fucking president. I mean, give the press something to work with.”
Stewart also provided the president with a suggestion, especially given the current price of fuel.

“Oh, here’s a positive story,” Stewart said. “I never thought my car could take $140 worth of gas in such a small tank. I had no idea!”
Then, Stewart tore into Trump for becoming the first commander-in-chief to “come out against the Constitution,” after the president admitted out loud that he had put in place a “ban on the free press.”
“He gives no fucks,” Stewart said. “He gives no fucks. He doesn’t even respect us enough to pretend he’s bound by our Constitution.”
