Melania Was Asked How Trump's Second Term Is Going, And Just Listen To Her Response

First lady Melania Trump on Wednesday shared a somewhat tepid assessment of the job performance of her husband, President Donald Trump, during an appearance on Fox News, choosing to tout the president’s work ethic and mentioning that he is “doing the best that he can” amid cratering approval ratings.

Melania Trump joined “Fox & Friends” Wednesday morning before ringing the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange, using both opportunities to promote Imperia — an invite-only platform created to help female business executives build relationships.

After touting the new endeavor and her husband’s efforts to end the Russian invasion of Ukraine, “Fox & Friends” co-host Brian Kilmeade asked Melania Trump how she sees her husband “handling the job differently” than he did during his first term.

“He’s very focused. He has a lot on his plate,” she responded, eventually elaborating, “It’s very different, what’s going on around the world now, but I think he’s doing the best that he can. He works nonstop. He has the most energy than anybody. He’s, from morning until evening, nonstop working.”

The president’s approval rating fell to 32% earlier this week, the lowest of his entire political career, as the nation struggles with an affordability crisis that he has largely scoffed at and his costly, unpopular war on Iran that’s been going on since February.

Donald Trump had vowed ahead of his 2024 re-election to boost the U.S. economy by reviving American manufacturing and keeping the country out of foreign entanglements. In addition to the Iran war and the aforementioned affordability issues, he has instituted debilitating international tariffs and celebrated rising inflation.

The president has also imposed a White House ban on multiple major media outlets Friday amid a midterm election season that could prove disastrous for the GOP. Even non-college voters, who were vital to his re-election, have begun shedding support.

On Wednesday, Melania Trump also highlighted an upcoming docuseries follow-up to last year’s “Melania” documentary directed by accused sexual harasser Brett Ratner, who appears in the Jeffrey Epstein files — and in photos with Epstein and two young women.

Before letting the first lady go, “Fox & Friends” co-host Ainsley Earhardt appeared to hype the upcoming docuseries even more, saying, “I hope in the next movie, you take us into your closet, because you dress so beautifully always.”
