The clip depicted staunch Donald Trump supporter Blackburn as Kendrick Lamar during his 2025 Super Bowl halftime performance of “Not Like Us,” with Rep. Tim Burchett (R-Tenn.), Sen. Bill Hagerty (R-Tenn.), state Sen. Brent Taylor and Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs as backing dancers.

One described it as an “AI cringe fest,” while another begged followers: “Excuse me while I clean the vomit off my phone”
“Holy what,” said former Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.).
Blackburn’s Democratic rival, Jerri Green, also weighed in, writing: “When I say please stop using AI to support our campaign, this is what I mean…”
Blackburn is polling well ahead of Green in the race to replace term-limited Republican Gov. Bill Lee. Trump won Tennessee by nearly 30 percentage points in the 2024 presidential election.
