Ocasio-Cortez then zinged: “They said they had to repaint the pool and now they’ve turned the place into a swamp. They turned it into an actual swamp.”
The “swamp” of Washington, D.C., was, of course, what Trump repeatedly vowed to drain during his three presidential campaigns.
