This Insulated Water Bottle Has A ‘Secret Stash Spot’ For Pills And It’s 15% Off Right Now

Trendy water bottles aren’t going away anytime soon, and while most feel like homogeneous hydration status symbols, some actually offer unique utility. Case in point: This one from Bottle Bottle has a twist-off hidden pill compartment. Of course, that compartment is also great for holding vitamins, small candies, a small amount of cash, and any other tiny essentials you like to keep near for easy access. With a leakproof straw and an easy-carry handle, it’s a workhorse water bottle you’ll take with you everywhere. It’s also a whopping 40 ounces — the same size as the mega-viral Stanley Cup. But what really sweetens the deal is that it’s on sale right now for Prime members at up to 15% off regular retail.

Several reviewers rave about the double-duty top that lets you use a straw or chug directly from the lid, while others say its secret stash compartment helps pack away everything from cash and meds to hair ties and keys.

“I like that it has the chug and straw spouts in one, comes with two extra straws, the handle seems very sturdy and the boot/silicone bumper is built into the bottom of the bottle,” one reviewer notes.

Its bonus pill-saving feature aside, this bottle has all the usual makings you’d expect from a modern water bottle: double-insulated walls to keep liquids icy for up to a claimed 24 hours or hot for up to 16 hours, a flip-up lid for easy pouring or sipping, an extra straw just in case you lose one, 100% food grade material and plenty of popping monochrome colors to choose from.

I love this water bottle. I’ve tried so many; hydro flask, yeti, owala, my owala recently broke and i think it’s a design flaw. the design of this bottle however is perfect. it insulates the same as the others but has a consistent handle that doesn’t get in the way, it has straw and pour, and something none of them have which is the bottom compartment for pills or whatever! i love it and love the simplicity of the brand name bottle bottle. 10/10” — Camrynn Demars

“I love this water bottle! At first, I was skeptical about purchasing a water bottle with a plastic cap. My old water bottle (which was lost) had a wide, metal screw-on cap. I decided to purchase this water bottle because of the interesting cap which offers two ways to drink. That cap is a game changer. It is made of a hard plastic material that doesn’t feel cheap at all. The straw portion will not deform. You will be sitting in a dentist chair before chewing that straw out of shape. If you don’t feel like sipping you can flip the lid on the cap for a gulp if needed. The insulated handle is also a nice added touch. Especially in colder climates where you don’t want to grab onto a cold piece of metal. The opening of the bottle is wide enough to place under the ice maker of my refrigerator which is another plus. For the price of a bottle that is this size (40oz) and has great build quality, you can get 2 when compared to the price of the more popular bottles out there. I’m very happy with my purchase!” — RMiller

“I absolutely love this water bottle, I had been getting ads online for a while before I finally bought one and I am glad I did. It is leakproof, durable, keeps your water cold, and the compartment in the bottom of the bottle for medications is super secure (also waterproof!) and super handy. I have tachycardia problems and have a medication I take when my pulse gets too high, I tried using little keychain pill holders but this bottle just ended up being so much more handy and discreet for me. It has that Owala-esc lid where you can either sip your drink through a straw or gulp it down and both are great. I recommend it to anyone I know who complains about having to take medications throughout the day!” — Chase M.

This is the 5th one of these I bought to have different sizes and colours , it is an amazing quality product, none other has the “stash” spot so seamlessly integrated where it just looks like how a normal bottle is built, don’t leak and very nice , got this one half off on the sale , only thing I can say that’s negative is it don’t keep drinks cold / hot for super long but is that really why we are buying this . It’s nice durbal and does what a bottle does great lid is very nice and bottom stays on as tight as u want it” — Amazon Customer

BrüMate’s Era tumbler with a handle and straw

“As a self-proclaimed cup snob, this product is my holy grail water bottle,” said Lindsay Holmes, deputy director of HuffPost Life about BrüMate’s insulated stainless steel Era tumbler. “It has the features that most other brands boast: it keeps your drinks cold for hours, it holds a ton of liquid, it fits into a cup holder, it has a straw, it’s cute in a ‘look at my obnoxiously sized cup’ kind of way. But what makes the BrüMate stand out from its competitors is the lock feature, which makes it the perfect cup if you’re on the go. Goodbye annoying leaks! I can throw this in my bag or carry it upside down and not a drop spills out of it.”

Holmes added, “I love this cup so much that I brought it with me to the hospital when I gave birth. It’s also now my go-to gift for people — and it’s always a hit. If you’re in the market for a new cup, you won’t regret getting this one.”

A MiiR wide mouth water bottle with a handle

“Look, I’m a simple man. I love beautiful design, and if it’s married to simple functionality, I need it. I’ve owned this MiiR water bottle for a few years now and can confidently say it’s a cohesion of both,” said HuffPost shopping editor Kevin Cortez. “It has a double walled vacuum insulated interior, so hot drinks stay hot and cold drinks stay cold for longer, and its stainless steel is super easy to clean (it’s hand-wash only, unfortunately). I love its slim build and have yet to encounter a cup holder it won’t fit in, plus its top-handle makes it easy to swing around. It also has a tightly sealed twist-off cap that I’ve never had leak.”

Cortez also praised the durability of the bottle, though was honest about its exterior. “This is one of the few water bottles I think looks better naked rather than shrouded in stickers. If you’re accident-prone, though, you might get annoyed at its chipped paint from scuffs and drops — but rest assured it won’t take a dent!”

This beauty comes in a few different solid colors and two sizes, 20 ounces or 32 ounces.

This Yeti Yonder plastic water bottle

“I love stainless steel bottles but they’re not useful in every situation,” Cortez said. “This is where plastic comes in. And while I like Nalgene bottles, they’re weak, too bulky and their lids end up looking chewed up over time. Yeti’s Yonder is basically a souped-up version of a Nalgene that’s much tougher, slimmer and, thankfully, more leakproof than its plastic predecessors. I’ve been using mine at the gym for a few years now and it still looks as good as it did on day one. It’s seriously surprisingly tough for being plastic, and that tethered cap, though also plastic, is pliable and bendy without feeling like a cheap cable tie or flimsy Nalgene cap. Oh, and best of all, it’s dishwasher-safe.”

The Yeti Yonder comes in four sizes and a ton of fun colors. The brand’s Tether Cap stays always attached so you can avoid dropping or losing it, and promises to be 100% leakproof.
