People Are Sharing The Obscure, Underrated TV Shows That Should Have Been Appointment Television

There are soooo many shows now, it’s literally impossible to watch them all – or even most of them. Recently, Threads user @kevinpatrickrobbins asked people to share underrated series that are actually must-watch.

He kicked things off by listing some of his fave underrated shows, including “Halt and Catch Fire,” “The Detour,” “Interior Chinatown,” and “The Hollowmen.”

People had a lot to share in response – here are some of the top suggestions…

“‘The Riches.’ I’d never heard of it until an American friend mentioned it and I found the first series on Netflix… Minnie Driver has a comic timing I’d never guessed at, and Eddie Izzard plays the role they were born for (haven’t much liked them in anything else). Great ensemble cast. The drugs episode is a must-watch. Made me a die-hard fan of Minnie. Second series not quite so good.”

The main character is a teen zombie who comes back to his family in a very small village in UK. It’s an amazing allegory view on discrimination, inclusivity and trauma. Extremely dark, extremely sad and one of the best written shows ever, with amazing music and visuals. A must-watch! A shame it was canceled after only two seasons.”
