This ingenious device separates dirty water from clean water, so when you’re all done, you can dump it without any mess. It also works as a vacuum to grab debris and scraps, plus with its attachments — an integrated crevice tool and a 3.5-inch reversible bristle tool — you can add abrasion as needed.

While it’s an excellent tool for wet messes, many reviews highlight the vacuum’s ability to clean dry, set-in and sometimes years-old stains from furniture, cars, stairs and carpets, often better than other machines.
″…This machine cleaned so quickly and painlessly, even managing to remove marker stains we thought had NO chance of coming out,” one reviewer said. “The bissell always was a struggle to use and wore me out trying to clean with it, but this one was very powerful making it easy to scrub and suction with, so i was able to get more done in less time and with less effort.”

Don’t be fooled by the small size; this machine is seriously strong — so much so, you may be surprised at how dirty the water gets. While it may be a little nasty at first, reviewers say it’s ultimately a blessing, ensuring that their cars and couches are actually clean. One user reported they saw so much “dirt and grime” come out around their house, they “almost wish I hadn’t seen it.” “Wow didn’t realize how disgusting my couches were,” shopper Natalie wrote. “Thankfully I have used this and now they are much better.” Plus, the HairPro model with three tools (which is also currently on sale) separates fur, hair and debris from the water tank (pictured above).

“The Shark has faced grape soda and hot Cheeto puke. You literally cannot tell where either of those stains were. “Full disclosure: We have had a Bissell Little Mean Green for a while, so I’m comparing an older version of that tool to the new Stain Striker. That said, the features of the Shark blow the Bissell out of the water. The multiple tool attachments are super helpful; most of my messes to be cleaned are small (cat puke) so I don’t need the massive attachments and really like the wee little cleaning head. It’s easier on my hand to hold and maneuver it. The Stain Striker definitely gets the job done and pretty quickly, and it’s easy to see whether you’ve extracted all the water and mess because of the clear attachments. I’m going back and cleaning old stains with it now and it seems to clean those pretty easily too. But the star of this cleaner is the “self cleaning” feature where you can flush out the attachments after using them. Our Bissell got caught up in a rather nasty doggie mess and has smelled like poo-puke since then, even though I have spent several hours trying to take it apart and clean it. The Shark’s self-cleaning feature prevents that by flushing itself out. “LOVE! omg so happy I finally bought this. I feel it’s a little pricey but it gets the job done. I had an old Bissell little green for years and loved that but it started to get gross quick. I love that this one you can take apart the brush to clean everything and I also love that you can clean the dirty water tank! That’s huge!
