Trump has been lashing out at the former Fox News host who is now U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia ever since her office moved to drop charges against former Olympian David Hearn, who had been accused of damaging the Reflecting Pool.

At Trump’s urging, Pirro indicted Hearn for allegedly vandalizing the pool and accused him of “forcefully and violently” pulling the pool liner off “with both hands.”

Hearn had maintained his innocence since his arrest on June 19.

Once Pirro dropped the case, prosecutors acknowledged in court filings that “the damage was the result of a botched installation and not vandalism as initially represented.”

“Well, I just think she (Pirro) was totally wrong; they did a beautiful job, there were a couple of little things, but that was not a big deal, and everybody saw the vandalism,” Trump told reporters.

Trump also said he “was not happy” with Pirro. When asked if he would keep her on, Trump said he hadn’t “made a determination” yet.

Trump made similar comments about Pirro on Monday.

“Frankly, I think she choked,” Trump said. “I don’t know what the hell happened.”

Sources also told CNN that Trump was “furious” at Pirro for dropping the case and that it’s “highly likely she’s removed from her job.”
