Ex-Trump Diehard Wacko Pleads For Congress To Impeach Him

Alex Jones, who once spun some of his wild conspiracy theories to help President Donald Trump, is now calling for Congress to “stop” him immediately by impeachment or the 25th Amendment.

Jones’ when-pigs-fly-and-hell-freezes-over shift against Trump has been in progress for a while.

On Tuesday he called for specific action.

Jones, who was pummeled with a $1.4 billion lawsuit judgment for calling the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary shooting a hoax and recently lost InfoWars.com , is still getting his out-there messaging out there.

On Tuesday he said he was appealing to both the left and the right.

“The big issue is how to stop Trump,” he said.

Jones claimed a ground war in Iran was a fait accompli and that Congress needed to prevent Trump’s trillion-dollar-plus National Defense Authorization Act from getting approved by both chambers.

“This is a war; they’re getting the draft ready,” he said. “If this isn’t a war, nothing’s a war. I mean this is absolutely out of control. And so I’m calling for it right now: 25th Amendment, impeachment, whatever needs to happen to get this front and center, to get control of our country.”

Jones alleged the president’s support of the NDAA was somehow “impeachable.”

“Need to be Nuremberg-style trials,” he said.

“And if you think it’s crazy now, imagine what’s coming with this,” he added. “They want us in a total war so they can censor and take our freedoms and nationalize everything, and push us aside with AI—total liability, immunity and protection. This is a disaster. We are facing tyranny, but the public’s awakening. We’ve got to come together and transcend left and right, and we have to say no to an expanded war that will definitely destroy the economy and kill a bunch of our troops. They’re preparing a massive ground invasion. It’s all confirmed. This is going down right now.”

Jones even composed his own headline: “Alex Jones calls for impeachment of President Trump for attempting to re-implement the national draft and launch a total ground invasion of Iran.”

Imagine that after Jones unspooled some of his silliest conspiracy theories to back Trump before his first election victory in 2016. Jones accused Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and then-President Barack Obama of literally being the devil and smelling like it, too.
