Wayfair’s modern, sleek TV stand (35% off)
Wayfair is well-known for its deeply discounted, simple furniture and home goods. You’re always guaranteed to find something on your to-buy list at Wayfair. While they have pieces from all sorts of styles, they have a surprisingly robust selection of sleek, modern pieces with strong silhouettes and tapered legs, like this beautiful TV stand from one of its in-house brands, Latitude Run.
Important note on this one: This is probably the BEST deal we’ve seen on Wayfair at all and it’s a limited-time lightning deal. The brand has it labeled as being just 22% off, but it’s actually almost $100 cheaper than when we covered it on sale in February for Presidents Day.
My super lovely entryway shoe cabinet (10% off w/ coupon)
I don’t typically sneeze at anything below 15% off, but for furniture items, I make an exception. This entryway shoe cabinet was literally exactly what I was looking for. I needed it to be really slim and not jut out, so my door could open freely. Despite the slimness, I still needed it to hold A LOT of shoes. This does that and I’m so in love. It’s also pretty dang sturdy.
As the first reviewer on the Amazon page, I took a gamble on this one because I couldn’t find anything else that fit the size requirements. It turned out quite alright, and now we don’t trip over shoes when we enter the house. One heads up: I can’t really speak to assembly, because my brother put it together for me. That said, several folks have mixed reviews on that, with some saying they hated it and others feeling like it’s not that bad. I say get a partner and go for it.

My Fitz modular sectional from Joybird (42% off)
This plush, comfy sectional I got from Joybird earlier this year is the most comfortable one I’ve ever owned. It’s super sturdy while being ultra-supportive. Ordering furniture online can be a gamble, but I can at least vouch for Joybird’s online images being exactly what you’ll receive. Right now, the retailer has an up to 45% off sale going for Labor Day, so it’s the perfect time to make your grab. There’s even a “Decide Later” option.
An upholstered Burrow accent chair (35% off)
The first couch I ever purchased for myself was from Burrow, largely in part, because of the brand’s quality. This lovely Rye recliner is well-made, liveable and at a fairly reasonable price point, especially now that the brand has an up to 40% off sitewide sale.
Note: This deal is better than when it was on sale for Presidents Day. I’d grab it nowif you want it. We usually don’t see brands do much better than 35%-45% off when Black Friday rolls around.
