The Wall Street Journal reported on Sunday that when French President Emmanuel Macron visited weeks into his new term, the two tried to have a video call with then-Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Trump has something of a history of throwing or tossing things when he’s unhappy with the objects or the situation. Just last month, for example, Trump pulled off his microphone and tossed it to the ground when he grew angry and stormed out of a “Meet The Press” interview. And in perhaps one of his more infamous incidents, he allegedly threw his lunch against the wall when he was angry about the 2020 election.

Cassidy Hutchinson, who was at the time the top assistant to then-White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, testified in 2022 that “there was ketchup dripping down the wall, and there was a shattered porcelain plate on the floor.”

She said it wasn’t a one-time thing.

“There will several times throughout my tenure with the chief of staff, that I was aware of him either throwing dishes, or flipping the tablecloth to let all of the contents of the table go onto the floor to likely break or go everywhere,” Hutchinson said.
