President Donald Trump is facing criticism after his White House social media team posted a bizarre video of him and Vice President JD Vance inside a “Rick and Morty” style cartoon.

The video shows Trump and Vance piloting a flying saucer as they are chased by some kind of winged demon. It also shows Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) removing his face to reveal he’s a robot, space aliens being arrested by U.S. Customs and Border Protection, MAGA hats, Diet Coke and more.

The video is consistent with many of the White House posts, which try to jump on trending memes to get attention.
But as critics were quick to point out, the video comes at a time when the country is at war with Iran, prices are rising and the administration still hasn’t released all of its files on the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, who was once close friends with Trump.
“People can’t afford gas, groceries, rent, and healthcare and this is the weird embarrassing crap the official White House account is putting out,” former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), who was once a close Trump ally, posted on X.
