‘Unhinged, Corrupt Egomaniac’: Critics Rip ‘Sick’ Trump After Unsettling New Post

President Donald Trump is facing criticism on social media after a brazen post in which he claimed control over an entire hemisphere of the planet.

Trump posted an image of himself peeking out over a globe with the words “His Hemisphere” above:

The image shows Greenland prominent in the foreground, and comes just days after the United States made a deal with Denmark expanding the U.S. military presence there.

Trump has spent years obsessing over Greenland, saying he wanted to make it a U.S. state ― an idea that goes all the way to his previous term in office.

Greenland officials have made it clear that the island is not for sale and that they don’t want to be part of the United States, and a pro-Trump candidate in last year’s election there flopped in the polls.

The new deal seems to satisfy Trump’s desire for a greater U.S. presence there while allowing the territory to maintain its current status as a semiautonomous region of Denmark.

What the deal does not do, however, is turn either hemisphere of the globe into Trump’s personal territory ― and critics were quick to point that out on X:
